As a follow up to the Goliath story, I made attempts to locate the skeleton and learn of it's current whereabouts. Several emails were sent to the Indiana State Museum without response. My most promising lead came from town historian Janice West who believed the skeleton was last in the possession of Dr. Harvey who may have donated it to the Indiana Medical Museum. While Janice was conducting interviews for her research many years ago, she learned that school children may have had a fancy with the skeleton and would break into the doctors office and take it as a prank. This is likely the reason it would have been donated somewhere. I had email conversations with the Executive Director for the Indiana medical museum (2018), who was intrigued by this mystery but knew nothing about the skeleton, so she reached out to older folks who may have information. In the end, there was no documentation or anything discovered that would place the skeleton at the museum. It's fate remains a mystery at this time.
